One of the enduring mainstays of the Asian Cinema has been the Japanese School girl. It's also a mainstay of the Asian Porn industry, but such is not the scope of this page (besides my girlfriend has that program that searches the harddrive and tracks everything I do on this computer, and she does it too).
And it is not surprising (that Japanese school girls are a mainstay, not that my girlfriend tracks my every move, though that is not surprising either). Japanese school girls encompass the perfect mixture of that sweet innocence of youth with being incredibly sexually desirable. It makes you not sure whether you should want to give her a cute Teddy Bear or go bukkake on her. It gives you a real feeling of cognitive dissonance, lusting after this hot chick but knowing she IS a school girl...kinda like the feeling you get watching Nuns-ploitaion flicks.
Anyway, before I start surfing Asian porn, I better get on with this Review, which is probably the most popular Horror Flick featuring Japanese School Girls, EKO EKO AZARAK.

This flick is also known as WIZARD OF DARKNESS and is not just a excuse to have Japanese Schoolgirls run around screaming. It's actually a really cool flick. It is a combination of elements seen in such flicks as THE CRAFT, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and THE FIRST POWER. The plot revolves around a group of School kids, some of who dabble in the Black Arts, who become involved in a ritual perpetuated by Satanists. The Satanists have killed five people, marking a huge pentagram in the city, at the center is the school. For the next part of the ritual, the Satanists must sacrafice 13 students in the school to summon Lucifer to rule the Earth.

Fortunately, one of the 13 students caught up in the action is Kuroi Misa, a new student who is no stranger to magic and evil. She is a witch that trouble seems to follow from school to school, or does she follow the trouble? Unfortunately, her knowledge of the Black Arts and the rumors that have followed her from her previous school make her seem the most likely culprit behind the evil. As the students begin to get sacraficed in grisly manners, Kuroi Misa must not only gain the other students trust, but discover who really is behind the awful spell before it is too late.

Seriously, it's not just the hottie Schoolgirls that make this one worth a watch and certainly not the lesbian scene between one such schoolgirl and her teacher.

Actually, this flick is very well made. Excellent production values and some stunning visuals and a very good script make this one a definate must see far Asian Horror fans.
This flick went on to spawn two sequels (which were OK but not as cool as this one) and a TV series as well as a bunch of rip-off movies, my favourite of which has to be High School Ghosthustlers [VHS]
